Clifford Thames at NADA
Each year the National Automobile Dealers' Association (NADA) holds an annual convention and expo for American dealers, focused on the automotive aftermarket. Lasting for four days between February 9th and 12th, the 91st NADA convention will be held this year in San Francisco at the Moscone Center, with over 600 exhibitors spanning 5 halls and 750,000 sq ft.
Apart from the exhibition itself, there are many opportunities to talk with dealers about the issues and concerns they face and many of the manufacturers take the opportunity to hold events and meetings with their franchise dealers. There is also a wide range of workshops and a number of guest speakers such as Rick Wagoner, Chairman and CEO of General Motors, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and the host of the Tonight Show, Jay Leno.
Brian Tatum, General Manager of Clifford Thames Inc, says 'We are presenting the recently enhanced FCA electronic parts catalog which is used by Ford dealers in North America. Available in both web and DVD formats, FCA also provides dealers with incremental updates to parts data between the normal monthly publishing cycles. Later in 2008, we will also be launching an exciting new product through OEConnection, which will enable franchise dealers to provide an electronic parts catalog to their key trade customers.'
Calvin Barnett, Chief Executive - Parts Cataloguing Division, adds "The theme for NADA this year is Dealer Profitability which is right at the core of the products and services that Clifford Thames provides to dealers. NADA will prove to be a useful testing ground to establish which of Clifford Thames' newly developed products will be appropriate for launch to the North American market."
